Prayer, Praising, Teaching and Fellowship

Relationships are an essential part of the Christian faith.  Without them we would sooner wither and die.  Our strategy at Praise Assembly of God is to provide opportunities for people to connect in ways that encourage spiritual growth.  One of the ways this is done is through small group interaction and teaching on life issues..

Small Groups

Couples home fellowship beginning April 11th at 6:00 pm in the Church Basement.  Come join us for a date night as we study the Marriage Course.  Setting is condusive for a quiet night out, no group discussion but a quiet evening of sharing between you and your spouse.  cost is 20 per person.

For small group interaction several opportunities exist:  Wednesday night LIFE GROUP in the sanctuary at 6:30 .. Tuesday morning intercessory prayer at 10:00 am and Thursday mornings at 10:00 the ladies meet for bible study.  Please contact the church office if you are interested in additional information.

Teens meet for a time of fellowship on Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

Jesus wanted to influence the whole world, so He spent 3 years with 12 men. He poured His life into theirs, knowing they would be left to carry on His mission after His ascension. His plan would be regarded as radical today in an era so devoted to building large Sunday morning crowds. Having a full worship service is certainly desirable, but is not sufficient to fulfill the Great Commission. The small group approach used by Jesus and the Early Church is the key.   People grow, learn, and work together most effectively in smaller teams. While this is not a replacement for the larger functions of the congregation, it is a necessary component of congregational life.
